How To Wear Our Glen Plaid Cocoon Jacket For Spring
Hope you are all doing well, staying healthy, social distancing and keeping your spirits up. We are all in this together and we will get through this unprecedented time together.
As promised and in keeping up with my weekly style features, today I am showing you one of our jackets that I originally introduced to you for fall.
But with today’s look you can see how easy it is to take the same jacket into spring.This Glen Plaid Cocoon Jacket has been a best-seller for us, we actually re-stocked it recently, but we are now getting low on stock. So if you have had your eye on it, grab it now as we will not be getting any more of them.
This jacket is one of those items that you can wear year-round. Even though the glen plaid fabric looks a bit “fall-ish”, it is not heavy and it has no wool in it, so it can easily be worn for spring as well.
It has a loose cocoon shape body with big fold back collar and elbow length sleeves. The whole cut of the jacket is very interesting and unique so I hope you will take a closer look at it in our shop photos. It is not lined, but all the seams inside are clean finished with a binding for an expensive look.
I feel this jacket is a statement piece that you can put on over jeans, or black pants and it automatically elevates your look. I do suggest you wear it with slimmer bottoms since it is a bigger shape on top.
For today’s look I paired it with one of our feminine knit tops, our Heather Tan Flounce Sleeve Knit Top. This is a really pretty top made out of a soft knit. The body is semi shaped and long. Today I have tucked it into my jeans, but you can see the actual length in our shop photos.
For accessories, I added one of our new necklaces which works really well with this jacket as the colors really blend well together. The necklace is our Gray and Gold Bead Necklace Set, which is two separate necklace I have put together. You can wear them together or separately with other necklaces and remember you are getting two necklaces for a great price.
The second accessory is our Peach Water Color Painting Scarf. I feel the scarf really makes the outfit more appropriate for spring. Just a little pop of pretty spring colors, can make such a big difference in a look. We only have two pieces left in this scarf.
