Our Navy Embroidered Boho Jacket Perfect For Spring
One of the biggest trends for spring/summer 2017 is embroideries. They are on everything from clothing to shoes and bags and even home accessories. Since Gucci started this trend, it has been prevalent in a lot of other runway shows and even in stores already.
We have debuted a few embroidered pieces in our store already and today I want to show you this new piece, our Navy Embroidered Boho jacket.Since embroideries go perfectly with boho styles, I wanted to do a jacket that combined the two trends together. This jacket is made out of a soft and light weight cotton fabric with embroidery details on the front and back yoke and cuffs. The embroidery colors are white, blue and orange, which is a perfect color palette for spring and summer. The jacket has two small hook and eyes for front closure if you choose to use them, however I think it looks much better left open.
I wore it over a our new Ivory Woven and Knit Mix Top which is an easy, basic top we just added to our store that you can layer under any jacket or cardigan. The front is a woven fabric, but the back is a knit. Due to the fact that it is light weight and ivory color, I do want to mention that it is slightly see through and you will need to wear a camisole or tank top underneath.
With the accent color in the jacket being orange, one of my favorite colors, I added our new Multi Beaded String Necklace with Orange Stone. I also added a new bracelet we have in our store which has a fun Boho look, the Blue Ivory Gold Charm Bracelet. Last but not least, I also added our Ivory/Orange/Blue Geometric Scarf with tassels, which is a fun scarf to wear now and take into spring.
