Two Beautiful Sweaters And A Fun Scarf
We have two beautiful new tape yarn sweaters in our shop and I am super excited about styling them both for you today.
The Natural color one was added to our shop a few weeks ago and without me having a chance to style it here on the blog, It sold out and I had to re-order them.
Since everyone loved the natural color and it sold so well, I decided to add a second color which is a beautiful flamingo pink.With Valentine’s Day being a week away, I though a pretty shade of pink would be appropriate. The color is a very pretty shade of pink with a touch of peach in it so it is very flattering for all skin tones. And the natural color, well I don’t have to tell you that is a great neutral for any time of the year.
These sweaters are knitted in a soft tape yarn. The weave is a little loose so it looks great over a camisoles, short sleeve or long sleeve tops or it would even work over shirts.
The body is loose and a bit oversized, with dropped shoulders and long sleeves. It has a V neckline and exposed seam detailing on certain seams. The back is slightly longer than the front and the sides have a slit. The bottom and the sleeves are finished with a ribbing detail.
For today’s look I am wearing it over our Ivory V Neck Long Sleeve Top, since the weather is still cold. The ivory top is one of our rayon modal tops that I have styled many times and is a staple in our shop. Even though I didn’t photograph the top on its own for today’s look, it is included in this weekend’s flash sale.
For accessories, I have a new scarf that works nicely with both sweater colors, our Blue Multi Color Feather Print Scarf with Small Sequins. This is a lightweight scarf with very pretty colors that you can wear with many outfits.
The clear sequins are very small and interwoven in the weave of the fabric and they just give a little sheen to the scarf. This scarf is also available in a hot pink color combo and you can see that piece here.
As for jewelry I am wearing our Gold Chain Necklace with Tan Pendant and Fringe and a brand-new bracelet set, our Multi Layered Cream Gold Bracelet Set. Both jewelry pieces work very nicely with both sweaters.
