Our Sonoma Stripe Blazer Is Perfect For Spring
Introducing another of our new women’s jackets for spring, this is our beautiful new Sonoma stripe womens blazer. Our Sonoma stripe blazer is perfect for spring and personally I have always loved stripes especially vertical stripes for womens jackets and blazers.
They are chic yet slimming at the same time, which makes it easier to wear for all women of different shapes and sizes.I always look for interesting stripe fabrics for fall or spring blazers and this spring I have found a couple. This Sonoma stripe is a cotton and spandex fabric that has a sanded hand, which gives it a soft hand and makes it feel luxurious. It is a cream base color with fine stripes in a dark pink and grey. This color combo already makes it very versatile to wear with anything from jeans, grey, off white or even black, which is how I have styled my look today.
Besides loving stripes I also love mixing other patterns with stripes including floral prints. I think stripes and floral are a perfect mix of masculine and feminine together. But you have to know how to do it the right way. My preference with any type of pattern mixing is to do the two patterns in different size scales together. For example if you are wearing a fine stripe, you can mix it with bigger and bolder floral pattern, but if the stripes are big and bold themselves, I would stick to a smaller floral pattern. Two different size patterns mixed together are always more interesting than the same size and i think this applies to any patterns like plaids, dots or even geometric prints.
This Sonoma women’s blazer has a very subtle stripe in the fabric, so I decided to mix it with my big floral print top and my black skinny jeans. I also added one of our brand new spring delicate double strand necklaces with a soft pink stones and gold fringe to add a finishing touch to the outfit.
