How To Wear A Black Blazer For Spring

I love spring, the weather is perfect and beautiful flowers start to bloom all around us. This year especially there is a sense of hope in the air as well, with the Covid 19 cases going down slowly and more people getting vaccinated.

There is a light at the end of the dark tunnel we have all been living through for the last year.

Speaking of spring, I think all women should have at least one black blazer in their closet. It is one of those wardrobe essentials that is a must have. They are obviously perfect for fall and winter, but they can work just as easily for spring.

Before I talk about today’s look, here are a few quick tips on how to wear them for spring:

Choose blazers that are in spring friendly fabrics and lighter in weight.
Go for ¾” sleeve length or scrunch/fold up the sleeves
Wear them with light or bright colors
Accessorize them with spring must have jewelry and scarves
Go for loose and easier silhouettes
Wear them with sandals and show some skin

For today’s look I have a new top that is perfect for spring and summer. It is made out of a slightly crinkled rayon fabric. The base is ivory, and it has a black aztec inspired stripe print. The shoulder area has a pretty lace insert. The body is loose and long, with small buttons in the front. It has long sleeves, but you can fold it up if you prefer.
