Happy New Year And A Cozy Casual Look

Happy New Year ladies!

I hope you all had a happy and safe New Year’s Eve and Day. My husband and I stayed home, cooked a nice dinner, drank some wine and watched a movie. I fell asleep before midnight but was woken up by fireworks and a lovely “Happy New Year” text from my son.

For me there is no looking back at 2020, but I do want to say even though it was a very difficult year for all of us, there were still lots of things to be grateful for on daily basis.

Maybe we didn’t get all we had wished for last year, but I think we learned to appreciate the little things in life which we were used to taking for granted all the time. I hope and pray that 2021 will be a much better year for all of us.

For my first look of 2021, I am showing you a cozy and casual outfit that I have personally worn a few times during December. Lately with the cold weather I have been wearing our wonderful cozy Brown Teddy Bear jacket and I have been loving it.

The color is a really pretty heather brown that can work with many different items. The body is a bit on the over-sized side, making it even more comfortable to throw over sweaters or heavier tops for those colder days.

It has a big notch collar; side pockets and it is fully lined. No front closure and no shoulder pads. It also comes in a gray but we only have one piece left in a size large and you can see that piece here.

For today’s look I have paired it with our best-selling Tan Textured and Solid Mix Knit Top. This top is made out of two different knits. The front and back are a textured knit and the sides and parts of the sleeves are a solid knit.

The body is loose and a bit oversized with long sleeves and a V neck. It has raw edge detailing in parts of it which makes it unique and stylish.

It is also available in Slate Blue and Off White.

I decided to add our Multi Color Houndstooth Plaid Square Shape Shawl as well, since it looks great with the jacket and the top. This shawl is super soft and has a beautiful color combo of neutrals with some pops of color. The houndstooth pattern with the plaid looks great and is something that will never go out of style.

I finished off the look with another best-selling item, our Earth Tone Stone and Bead Necklace. The necklace picks up on all the colors of the shawl so they are perfect accessories to wear together.
