Our Paris Boucle Jacket Styled With A Graphic T Shirt

A few months ago, I debuted our beautiful Paris Boucle Jacket. At the time, I did a dressy and sophisticated look with it and you can see that look here. Today I wanted to show you how you can take the same jacket and make it more casual and fun to wear.

Our Paris Boucle Jacket is a classic Chanel inspired boucle jacket that will never go out of style. Thanks to Coco Chanel, most boucle jackets are now considered classics. However, you do need to be careful in how you style them so they don’t look old. The best way to do that is to wear them with unexpected items, like jeans or faux leather pants. If you are going to wear them with a classic bottom, try to add an unexpected accessory or a trendy shoe or bag, something that is super current to update the jacket.

This jacket is made out of a novelty boucle fabric and has fun gold buttons and a black and white stripe lining. These two details already update the jacket and make it more current. Today I chose to wear it with an unexpected piece like a graphic t-shirt. As you know I love mixing graphic t-shirts with blazers or jackets, as I have done this look for you before. Graphic T-shirts give jackets and blazers a more relaxed and cool vibe which I love.

This is a fun soft rayon jersey graphic tee in ivory with the word “Believe” screen printed on the front in a burgundy color. The body is loose and long and fabric is super soft. It has short sleeves with double stripes printed in burgundy on each sleeve. As I have mentioned before one of my favorite words for 2018 is “believe” and I want all of you to remember to believe in yourself and believe that anything is possible.
